WHEN DOES IT END???

I just don't understand the paranoiac idiocy of some people. It seems that every time this particular person misplaces something, or a gecko sneaks into his home, I get accused of breaking into his home. Now he claims someone broke into his home and changed the screws on his deadbolt.
He is talking about changing his door now. I say fine, do what you feel you need to do. He knocks on my door and says something about changing his door and locks again "won't do any good if we don't have a truce."
Truce? Truce for what? He has accused me of stealing association funds (proven to be wrong), breaking into his home and stealing minutes from Board meetings both public and secret, and at least three separate occasions. I have been accused of leaving a dead gecko in his hallway. He and his "friends" from the past board have pursued me to the point of spending over four thousand dollars of association funds with our former lawyers. Note: yes, former lawyer. They took money to pursue something that did not exists and even after it was proven, they seemly continued to take money for nothing.
Take Heed: My last option, fast approaching is legal action against these ridiculous accusations.
This person, along with two or three others have conspired to find some way "to get" me.
One, another in my association had told another owner, that he intends to bankrupt our association. He has gone to Tallahassee and file a false complaint and has kept property belonging to the association even after being asked to turn them over. This person has cost the association over $600 in replacement cost. He WAS on the board, but has been removed. In our association, you can not be behind in dues and fees and sit on the board. Since he owes a debt to the association and refuses to pay it, he disqualified himself and has been replaced.
Another, the main reason for the legal fees, sold his place, (without board approval or a board meeting) and moved in with his girlfriend. More power to him. It won't stop me from pursuing legal action to recover the association fees that he and two others used to waste on legal fees.
Sorry for blowing off some steam, but it had to be said.... and that is what I have my own blog for... and to these folks I say:

Poor John

Former vice president Gluszak sent in the following letter to the Reporter,

"We have to believe it. At the Delegates Meeting on Friday, May 2, 2014, reports were made by UCO  Vice Presidents, as follows: V.P. Dom — changing light bulbs in the village and possibly to close Borden Crossover never mentioning what is happening with the downed fence before gate. V.P. Marcia — quadrant V.P. for above section; never mentioning fence. V.P. Joy — Working two jobs, she thanks Bob Marshall for helping. Little does she realize that she is taking a shopping day away from him @ Costco. V.P. Bob — Nothing to report, not even the fence.Where is our CAM that we pay over $70,000 yearly about this situation with the fence?Security (what Security?) — people lock your cars and Condos to protect yourself. There is a new Club in town called NAS that stands for “Neighbor  Against Stupidity”.
— John Gluszak, Ex-Vice President"

Johnny, maybe the whole thing about the fence just doesn't get through. Here you are complaining that it wasn't mentioned, but the fence was fixed withing days of the meeting. Did it ever cross your mind that maybe, just maybe, it was already in the works?
C'mon John, here you are complaining about Joy working two jobs and Bob going to Costco and paying our CAM $70k a year and Dom talking about lightbulbs and closing Borden crossover.
First let me point out, the CAM makes over 70K a year and we are lucky to get him so cheap. That job is easily a 125k per yr job. He took a huge paycut to come to CV. We got off easy there. We should be thankful that he is here.
Joy working two jobs? Yep, and doing them both pretty well. She does a hell of a lot more than just getting the transponder lane closed at night or getting a pothole filled.
Dom and the lights, well there is a need for brighter lights in some areas and switching to LED lights fulfills that need and the operating cost will offset the cost to change over in time.
As far as Bob going to Costco, well I am sure that what he shops for is no business of yours. Are you jealous that he can go?
Ya'know John, there is a reason that you are an EX-VP. You can't base your whole re-election campaign on just closing the lane and filling a pothole... and bouncing back and forth between the two sides didn't help you very much either..
New club in town? Before you go criticizing these officers, remember one thing...They have accomplished more in five months than you had in a year. As a matter of fact, I can't think of anything you did but close the transponder lane and fill a pothole by the Camden Pool. Please John, if you don't have anything intelligent to say, don't say anything... you may wind up as the poster boy for your own club.

Last thought on the subject: John, if you are prepared to dish it out, be prepared to take it.

To Esther

Esther, I wish to offer my sincerest apology for the oversight of your ad this month. This was my first month taking over as the Advertising manager, and your ad was my biggest mistake of the month. It was not intentional and I will run the ad in the July and August at no extra cost. I am putting the ad in my folder for July right now. Have a good Memorial Day week end.
Once again, my apologies.

Lies, half truths and Olga

Lie: I went to the UCO Reporter office and said he should have died in the war.  The fact is, I went to the Reporter to have an article printed about a pending law changing the amount of pharmacy technicians from three to six. – A law detrimental to seniors because it would take time away from the pharmacist to fill prescriptions. While I was discussing this with a staff worker, Bob interfered. I told him to butt out. During the altercation, he said," maybe you think I should have died in the war. I replied, “Maybe you should have," which is not the same as me taking the initiative and telling him he should have died in the war. – I simply repeated what he suggested. He is aware that I was a serious protester during the Vietnam War. Does it make sense that as a war protester, I would want him dead?

Truth
Olga came in trying to get her article published, an article about increasing pharmacy techs from three to six per pharmacist. That part was true. I asked her if she had any medical background, she said no. I then told her that I did. As a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy and that we've had as many as ten techs per pharmacist with no problems, so how is that detrimental to the care of patients? If anything, it would bring the costs down for the pharmacy and they may just pass the savings on to the customers, but she told me to butt out (that part again was true). She lost her temper, called me all sorts of names that made this sailor blush and any other would have too, and stated "YOU SHOULD'VE DIED IN THE WAR!" Direct quote. There were many witnesses there, and ALL heard her rantings. Lanny, the staff member she was talking to, was a little upset with me for commenting on her article, but heard every word. No where did I suggest that maybe she wanted me dead in the war, that was all from the so-called peace loving protester. What a joke.

Lie: "He says, I have no class and suggested that I attend charm school. He even offered to pay.
Me?  Charm school? Now that’s funny."

Truth:Yes, I said she has no class and did suggest she attend charm school. That is true, however I offered to contribute to her going, not pay for it. Big difference.

Lie: "Furthermore, to set the record straight, we are NOT suing ourselves; we are suing David Israel and UCO. Will our insurance premiums go up? If your condo is destroyed in a hurricane, are you going to pay for the damages or will you have your insurance company pay?  David Israel and UCO have damaged our roads, and it will be up to our insurance company to pay."

Truth:If you sue UCO and it's officers, YOU ARE suing yourself. WE ARE UCO. We all are. David Israel and UCO did not damage the roads... The delegate assembly, sorry to say made the call not to pay the extra it would have cost to grind down the roads so the cracks would not come back. Went the cheaper way and now we have cracks. Notice in the last sentence of that particular comment, "it will be up to our insurance company to pay."
Let me ask, have you ever noticed that when you have a car accident, shortly after, your insurance rates go up? What will happen if this stupid lawsuit happens to succeed? First, the lawyers will get their cut, usually a third... that's a lot of money. How is a third of five million blown away helping us? That is one million, six hundred and fifty thousand dollars kissed good-bye! That would leave three million, three hundred and fifty thousand left. If the roads get re-done the right way, what is left? Nothing! In fact it would most likely cost us even more, so where is the benefit? AND on top of that, the insurance rate would rise. No benefit. Except to the lawyer that will get his Bentley paid off.
Olga, learn to read about what you speak of before opening your mouth.
Ya'll have a nice day now.

Note to Esther.

Sorry Esther, I just could not resist. Your comment regarding the article being printed:

Good to know that Joy Vestal is now going to print the article. Realizing that one was wrong is a good step in the right direction. I like what you write here and I hope you like my article on this topic. I was THAT annoyed!
Just so you know, The Reporter is NOT printing what Olga requested, which was her long winded speech at the Delegate Assembly begging for money for lawyers to sue UCO and David Israel (in other words, pay the lawyers to sue ourselves and our insurance regardless of how much it will cost us in premiums later).

What IS being published is an article written by Ed Grossman. An article that was well written and concise.
NOT what was written by Olga.

This is the second time she has come into the Reporter offices and made a spectacle of herself with her trash talk. First telling me I should have died in the war (Desert Storm) and more recently this incident with Joy calling her a F------ C---. No class.

It is easy for someone to come to the defense of colleague when they were there, but how can anyone defend her actions when they were not there. All they hear are Olga's side of the story and not the truth.

She wants money for something? I'd be the first to contribute to her attending CHARM SCHOOL. Want a couple bucks?

What to do, what to do...

Paranoia is a b!t$#!!!!
Having someone accuse you of breaking into their unit is distressing enough, but to have the person accuse you of having them followed, well now that is definitely time to make reservations for the padded room.
Bad enough to have former officers and a board member of our association accuse someone of wrong doing without any proof, but to spend four thousand of association funds to try to go after a ghost story is just plain stupidity.
To top it off, when they are proven wrong, no apology, no retraction of their stupidity. They just keep trying to prove what never happened to begin with. Guess Jack, Phil and Roger will need to pay for their mistake. Especially for having a lawyer violate all sorts of privacy issues.
Also Association files are missing...
What to do, what to do...
Guess it should be up to a judge to decide this one.
