as Sgt Friday would say, "Just the facts..."

Gary Oldman speaks... doesn't make him right. Not by a long shot. They say oily fish, blueberries and eggs are good for the memory ...

or maybe some good old fashioned Geritol...

Reserves and Blame

On  bobs know nothing blog he states that the fault of the lack of Reserves was the Previous Treasurers fault. The fact of the matter is that Israel and Black took the reserves to pay the paving bills. Not the Treasurer. Had they done this legally the Delegates would of had a vote, which they didn't.

  1. I think he'd better go back and play all the videos from the time Dorothy was our treasurer. She repeatedly told us we didn't have enough money in our reserves, and the lying creep of a president of UCO constantly insisted that she was wrong. What did you do Bob - sleep through every delegate meeting? Maybe you were too busy playing with your pet.

  2. Gary is wrong. The delegates did vote for the shoddy road job. I was there! I know you won't post this but you and I know you are wrong!

My reply to Gary and Carole:
I seem to recall the vote also...maybe it was you (Carole) that was asleep... Gary must've fell asleep too.

I posted it here because Gary usually censors what I write on his blog. I am actually surprised he let Grace's answer get by.
You're slipping Gary. Carole, I understand your animosity towards Sadie. Many people are ignorant of the benefits of a Service animal, you among them.

  2. Is this still a viable blog, or is it for all intents and purposes defunct? There's been very little on it for a long time. Makes me think the blogmeister may have other, more important interests.............

  3. I do Lanny...I look at the blogs from time to time, and laugh at some of the things said, feel sad for some others, but I refuse to let it get my undies all bunched up anymore. I decided that life has too much to offer other than the hatred and discontent the other blogs are offering. Let's face it, we are not getting younger. We are getting older with each passing day and I have better things to do than keep arguing the same ol' thing day and day out.
I want to see Century Village improve, become a place that I am proud to live at. Instead of all this (pardon my language) BULLSHIT. This place is already affordable with lots of amenities. Amenities that many can do without and others can't. We willingly pay for things that many do not and may not use, and we do this for the benefit of THE COMMUNITY as a whole. Of course this includes all the buses, discounted shows, dances, pools, clubs and other things. Can we do without THESE amenities? Do we want to? As expenses rise for these things, so do the fees. Just a fact of life.
I am tired of hearing the same old song with a few tired changes in the lyrics. Try singing a new song with a little upbeat tempo...

  4. At least I am glad to hear you are alive and well and kicking, Bob! Looking forward to seeing you when I return to CV and the Reporter. It's getting colder up here in MA. Brrrrr!
