A Moot Point

Esther is shouting out her victory. How she is now on the Exec Board thanks to Marilyn 's "offer" and getting her group to walk out on the assembly.

Walking out accomplished nothing but make the assembly quiet and orderly for the remainder of the meeting. Since nothing needed to be voted on at that point, the walk-out was moot.

Not much of a victory if you ask me.

  2. Hi Bob,
    SUGGESTION OF THE DAY:
I can't make out from your blog post what happened and what you are getting at. Are you assuming that your readers have read Esther's or Olga's blogs or have viewed the video of the delegates meeting? Not everyone reads those two blogs, including me, and I haven't viewed the video of the meeting yet (I plan to). In any event, I think It would help your readers understand what you are getting at if you took the time to give the background for your statements. You might also then get more responses?

  3. Hi Lanny, Your response is not a good sign. How do you know what is going on if you don't keep abreast of the opposition. There are many thing that we bring to everybody's attention, such as the Kelly thing, and the Yom Kippur thing. All of which started the Blogs, and the CVMessenger.

  4. I used to read Esther's blog and your and Olga's blog, Gary, but the unabated, constant criticism and vile language finally turned me off. Plus your blogs and the Messenger (I have seen a couple of copies) often get facts wrong about matters with which I am familiar (the Kelly business is one) and make unfounded accusations. If you are so far off concerning matters of which I happen to have inside information, I have to ask myself why trust you concerning matters with which I am not familiar? One can't read all sources of information about everything. A wise person, after some experience, chooses his sources.

  5. Lanny, yes it refers to the Delegate Assembly where Marilyn did her duty, laid on her sword and let Esther take the open position on the Exec Board. Now of course, Olga is calling for Herb Finkelstein's resignation in hopes that she may be next, which I am sure would be the only way for her to get on the board. Whatever...
The fact is, she is appointed to the board because she is Marilyn's leader. Frankly, I am glad that she is on the board, this will give her the NEEDED experience for her advancement through the ranks (so to speak) and maybe open her eyes a bit. Maybe she will finally see the so-called backroom meetings they claim happen all the time, maybe she'll witness the theft and graft her friends keep accusing of happening and have actual eyewitness accounts. But don't hold your breath, unless you really like the color blue that you would turn.
