Do what I say, not what I do.... Grossmans new motto

It seems Mr Grossman's motto is Do what I say, not what I do....

For YEARS we have had to listen to Ed's complaints about not having transparency in UCO. He and some of his friends had Made claims of secret backroom meetings and improper procedures within UCO.

Yet he is having an unscheduled meeting today (October 15th) that was not only NOT on the schedule, (and I should know as I am the one keeping the schedules).

Any meeting MUST HAVE at least 48 hours notice, and since ALL Officers are automatically on EVERY Committee, MUST receive at least 48 hours notice.  Our President, David Israel received notice and an agenda at 7:16 am. Not 48 hours before, not yesterday, but today, the day of the meeting.

Heaven help anyone that corrects him and tells him he is wrong. They get called a moron. Apparently there may be some issues he is having. He obviously has issues with being questioned about not following procedure and will get confrontational. Anyone that knows me also knows that if I dish out as much as I get.

I backed Ed during the election... I expected more. I am disappointed.

Update: Todays meeting has been cancelled. Scheduled meeting for October 23rd (as previously scheduled) is the next Finance meeting, followed by the regularly scheduled meeting on the 28th.

both are scheduled for 1:00 pm.

To STOP or NOT TO STOP, that is the question....

Whether tis nobler to obey the laws of the land

or does thou purse be so weighty that you wish to throw thou coin to the dust...

I will soon be posting a four minute and 12 second video where I sat in a bench and watched the traffic at one of the very few stop signs on the perimeter Road and of the 38 cars in that short time, 4 I did not see if they stopped, 12 DID come to a complete stop, and 22, YES TWENTY TWO DID NOT STOP! At least 4 barely slowed down when they completely ran the sign. One ran the sign, saw me video recording and stopped in the middle of the intersection!

What does it take to wake people up in this village? Is $167 not enough? Do you have so much money that you can afford a few tickets a week?

I have two simple solutions to this, actually three.

1st... SLOW DOWN AND STOP.

2nd... and I get a lot of opposition to this with my fellow officers, do whatever is necessary to install SPEED TABLES throughout the village, preferably at most of the major crosswalks especially at the ones at stop signed intersections.

3rd... If you feel you have so much money that you don't care about paying for tickets, then why don't you donate the extra money you have to charity. Get a ticket, match it with a donation to a charity...My choice would be Paws4Liberty, Inc. in Lake Worth. www.paws4liberty.org

At least then you can help get service dogs for returning servicemen and women with disabilities.

Reflection Bay

the following is a link to meeting with D.R. Horton representatives in reference to the proposed Reflection Bay community.

They asked for this meeting, because of some technical difficulties, the audio is not too good, so turn up your volume or better yet, wear headphones.
