Don't vote for...

I am glad I copied my response and posted it here since the the blog that claims to be "An open and Public blog" is obviously not so open nor public and publishes not "...those subjects that will be beneficial to the village". Nor the "good life in century village".
Gary, you started that blog and unfortunately you allowed a deranged person access to who can post on your blog. She has admitted to deleting my posts in the past and anytime she could get to them before you (Gary). Not very open, huh Gary?
Thank goodness that I also usually post my responses here as well, otherwise your blog seems very slanted. Even when you seem to try to be fair, your friend Olga is not. and Her argument that she will let me post when David lets her post on his blog. Childish response at best.
This is not the kind of person that should be in a position of authority within UCO.
She went into the UCO Reporter office and demand that her vile editorial be published and when it was refused because of the content being libel, she called Joy Vestal a Effin-C*#@(a derogatory term for the female anatomy) and threatened Joy. This is NOT the kind of person that should be in the position of responsibility in UCO.
Even further back, (when I worked at the Reporter) she was trying to submit an article supposedly written by her son concerning Pharmacists and their Techs and when I spoke, asking if she had any medical background, she denied having any. We went back and forth for a minute and her retort to me was YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED IN THE WAR! Sorry, but that was unforgivable. To tell a veteran of two wars that he should have died in it. Hanoi Jane has nothing on Olga. THIS PERSON DOES NOT DESERVE to be in the same room as ANY Veteran let alone represent anyone in UCO.
DO NOT VOTE FOR OLGA WOLKENSTEIN, Not even if she ran for Trash Inspector, (although THAT she may actually be qualified for).
You want to put your vote to good use? Vote for John Gragg. He is honest, hard working and devotes not only his time, but his own money to the betterment of the village.
Joy Vestal, dedicated and the most qualified person the UCO Reporter has ever had.
Ed Black is highly qualified to become a VP, but sad to say, he has many enemies in the village, the majority being with the malcontents. Although extremely competent, I fear he will not win.
Marcia Ziccardi previously a VP, did not get re-elected for good reason, she liked to put her nose in everyones business but her own. She has an opinion on everything, and how it should be done and has expertise in none. As Overseer on Transportation Committee, she went to only two or three meetings in two years. Once was because Lori Torres was away and she had no choice. Not a good choice.
John Gluszack, also not a great choice. oh yes, he got the gates closed at night which makes the money spent on barcodes a moot point, but there is also his health concerns. Problems that take him away from the village every summer for three or four months at a time.
Let's see now...Howard O'Brian or Ed Grossman...that's a no brainer... Has anyone checked Howard's signature to see if he puts those thee little letters after his name? I saw Ed's video and he claims to have worked on three newspapers in the past, the Smithtown Messenger, the Islip Messenger and the Ronkonkoma Messenger... and of course there is the CV Messenger...Is there a theme Here? All papers founded by our own messenger Ed? Sounds like Ed has something to complain about EVERYWHERE he goes.
John Hess or Eileen Pearlman, well, I know John Hess and trust him to have common sense and is a great organizer as the CERT team can attest to. Ms. Pearlman on the other hand, I have no idea who she is, or what she can or can not do.
Bobbi Levin or Marilyn Pomerantz? I barely know Bobbi, as I left The Reporter just as she was coming in, I know her to be reliable, but honestly, not much else. Marilyn on the other hand I know fairly well. She does work hard, but health concerns may become an issue, and of course, she does keep her friends informed of everything that goes on. Sorry, but trust may be an issue.
Now for the big one, President.
I have nothing against either David or Phyllis. I feel both have served the village with distinction and deserve to be recognized for it. I will support either one that wins. I do however slightly lean towards the incumbent with reservations.
David, I consider you a friend and it with that in mind that I say that there are times that you need to take a chill pill. Yes, the malcontents get under your skin at times, but take a step back and reflect on what you say before you say it...I know, coming from me, seems a little redundant  as I too need to follow my own advise, but I am working on it.  Either way  I wish you both luck this election.
