Live with it.

It is done, Donald J. Trump IS the President of the United States of America.
It amazes me that the media asks the protesters "what are you protesting?" they had no answer.
Protesting just to protest is just noise. We have a lot of noise in D.C. right now.
As I watch protests and hearing the explosions of the tear gas, it seems like such a waste.
Reporters that clearly have no clue the difference between tear gas, flash bangs and Molotov cocktails. Photographers putting themselves between police and demonstrators trying to get "the shot". If they get hurt, they have no one to blame but their own stupidity. Half of the news photographers are in-distinctive from the protester that are destroying private property. They are walking around with ski masks and scarves covering their faces. So far there is over a hundred arrests.
Sounds of flash bangs to move the protesters going off, scenes of protesters throwing things at the police...is this America?
I just heard a reporter on CNBC of all places make a statement that the protesters are trying to get the police to do something violent, because it is what they want, to get it recorded.
Looking at the video of the Trump supporters and the Trump Haters looks like two different countries.
Now they are starting fires for the cameras. It makes me ashamed for the Democratic Party.

  1. I write from some ignorance because this past weekend about the only thing I watched on TV was the Patriots' game. They won handily and will be in the Super Bowl in two weeks. Let's hope they go all the way!

So I didn't see or hear about the demonstrators, but I expect your description of what happened is pretty accurate going by past such incidents. I don't lay ALL the blame on the Democrats, for there have often been "professional agitators" at work in these demonstrations, thugs who have come in (been brought in in some cases?) from the outside to cause damage and injury. But it seems that the Democrats do by and large just "stand by" and give tacit assent to these excesses. Many of the Dems remain shocked by the election of Trump, but this is no excuse for not giving him a chance and hoping for the best for him and the country. Many of us have been in the same boat after an election and, even if with gritted teeth, wished the new administration the best. You're right, it is reprehensible. And you are right that it does not win support for the Democrat cause.
