Civil? not hardly.

If you read the posts on the malcontent blog, on the very top it states, be civil and polite. What a joke.  They can call you anything they want, but heaven help you if you call them anything... Then you get labeled a nazi, a fräulein, or something worst. I got one for the biggest propagandists over there... How about HYPOCRITE. They criticized the use of volunteers that are renters for the past two years, but when it comes to using one to do their video taping and posting on YouTube, they suddenly have no problem with that.

  1. If you are talking about my Volunteerism piece, I made no remark about renters. They are never on my mind. What I did say was that Volunteering for work with UCO was a choice by D.Israel and first it is political. You have to be of the right political stripe and and opinions to be acceptd. If you are a melecontent you are not accepted. If you are a not a malcontent but indicated a opposition to D.Israels and his ways you are not accepted. Be you renter o owner.

    1. Gary, historically, the people that usually write on your blog are the very same ones that have repeatedly denounced renters as volunteers.

  2. Ever since the December delegates meeting, I have found myself no longer interested in Gary's or Esther's blogs and haven't turned to them once. I know what you are saying, Bob, and I certainly found it true. There has been name-calling on both sides, but it has been absolutely egregious--WAY beyond the pale--on the part of some of the "malcontents" on their blogs.

I've also heard the same story you alluded to about a renter in the Village. After some very heavy criticism on the part of the malcontents for using the talents of a renter in the Village (asserting that as a renter she had been given too much power, which was self-serving nonsense), I was told by the very same renter that when Esther was a candidate for UCO president, she asked this renter if she would be on Esther's "team"! Of course this cannot be proved one way or the other, but I suspect it is quite true. I know the renter in question, and I cannot imagine her dreaming this up. This occurrence, granted unprovable, has been just one more example to me of the ongoing duplicity on the part of some of the malcontents. I do not trust anything they say.

This is too bad. The opposition at times may make some valid points, but it's like "The boy who cried 'Wolf!'" to me. He was not telling the truth and would laugh when the townspeople came out to protect him. Then the day came when the wolf really came upon him, and nobody came to his rescue. By then they gave what he said NO CREDENCE.
