Was I right, or what?

Well another Delegate Assembly is done and over with. The Tetro Issue was put to rest by President Israel after the committee recommended her dismissal. With only thirty days left to Tetro's term, it was pulled by the president discretion. Made sense on some levels as it showed that she is not eligible to be in office. Eligible or not, it didn't stop Olga from attempting to nominate Tetro from the floor. I must be getting psychic.
I knew Olga would be the one to pull a bonehead move like nominating someone that is not eligible after hearing the recommendation of the committee.
Just because Israel saved Tetro from the embarrassment of being discharged for bylaw violations, did not mean she was automatically able to run.
Olga's reading of an absent Tetro's statement mentioned that she had purchased a property in November. A partial truth... the fact is, she was placed on the title of her lovers property then REMOVED a month later in December. (This is all on the property appraisers website).
They must have realized their mistake and put her back on again in APRIL. Let's see, December, January, February, March, April...that's quite a long time to not be on the paper she claims qualified her for office, even if she didn't live there. Another thing that didn't get pointed out was that when she was put on in November, the mailing address was here in the village, but when taken off and put back on in April, the mailing address was now different. It was NOT in the village, but in Cypress Gardens.
LOOKS LIKE PROOF TO ME.
The poor misguided people that are following Olga and her cohorts really need to do some self examination.
Although technically the proceeding were dropped, it was not dropped until after the recommendation to dismiss was read into the record.
Do you really want to have these people running the village?
Olga wins...BONEHEAD of the Day Award. Congrats, a well deserved award.

  1. It does look like he was afraid to put it to a vote.

  2. anonymous, did you fail to see that the recommendation was to dismiss, or the facts left out where she was added then removed then put back on much later? What do you need to make you see? Do you need to have a big billboard on YOUR building? she is out of office at the end of the month. The recall process start some time ago and through all the stalling tactics that kept putting off until the next month and the next, it finally went to the committee which recommended her removal. With only a month left in her term, it seemed that David felt is was better to let it go since it was clear that she is not eligible to run again, or ever unless she makes some changes.
