"There is only one Officer, I can commend because she does not influence the delegates into voting a certain way. She alone gives them all the information to allow them to make a choice. That Officer is Dorothy Tetro." (...Olga)
Makes you wonder... How is it they can only support(commend) an officer that should not be one?
Bob
This is a test. Just checking to see if you will allow this post.
ReplyDeleteIf it's true, as you claim, that Dorothy Tetro is an excellent treasurer and she is volunteering her time....why does it bother you so much that there is a possibility that she is not a legal resident?
This is direct from UCO bylaw:
ReplyDeleteAll Officers of UCO must be members of UCO, and be domiciled and reside in Century Village, West Palm Beach, Florida, for a period of not less than nine (9) months of each year in which they serve. A Delegate may not serve on the Delegate Assembly and as an officer at the same time. Upon becoming an officer, a sitting Delegate must immediately resign from the Delegate Assembly.
If I lived elsewhere, I am sure I would be asked to resign also.
So this was not an issue when her name was put on the ballot.
ReplyDeleteOnly now, when we find that she is capable and non biased, is she being scrutinized so thoroughly.
And a non resident.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you afraid to put your name?
ReplyDeleteNot afraid. Just asking questions so that I can form my own opinion.
